Woodhead’s Law
Your business is going global.
Your employment counsel probably isn't.
That's more common than you'd think — and more risky than most founders realize. I'm Halima Woodhead, an employer-side international employment lawyer. I help growing companies figure out what they aspire to build, what's missing, and how to fix it.
About Woodhead’s Law
Woodhead’s Law Practice is a solo law firm founded by Halima Woodhead. Halima is an internationally respected expert on global, international, cross-border, and comparative labor and employment law and policy - including how governments around the world enforce those laws.
At Woodhead’s Law, she uses that expertise to help businesses navigate the legal complexity of employing people across borders - whether it is your first overseas hire or hundredth.
The Practice is based in Western North Carolina, but the legal representation is primarily virtual. Counsel is available to the private sector, particularly (but not limited to) startups with Seed, Series A, or Series B funding. Clients have either already hired employees in other countries or are starting to think about it.
